These are three postcards from a set of six. I drew and illustrated these as part of a project with Blazing Tales for English Heritage and Combe Martin museam.
We spent a day in Combe Martin collecting stories past and present. Combe Martin used to have one of the longest high streets in the country. This high street was filled with shops from top to bottom. Like many small towns today the small shops are few and far between as supermarkets have taken their toll. However, memories of these shop fronts can still be found. It was these echoes of the past which inspired us to create this alternative set of postcards for the town. They can be bought in the Combe Martin Museam.
